Here we find ourselves, back in in lockdown and with nowhere to go. To me, I think that the unknown of how long this will go on and wondering if/when we will ever return to “normal” is the most difficult part to understand. Especially with the holidays approaching, what is the usually the most happy time of my year. I’m sure I’m not alone with those thoughts.

In this moment of unknown that could easily turn into worry, I would challenge us all to take a few breaths and remind ourselves of our blessings. To be still and grateful for what we do have and not saddened by what’s been taken away. To focus on what is within our control and not allow what is not to consume us. One hand on the heart and one on the belly. Feel your breath. Center yourself. Remain in control of what you can – of your own thoughts, reactions, positivity.
